Continuous Sparge Arm

After a little mishap that left my kitchen covered in wort I thought it was time to finally get the sparge arm built. With a bit of left over 0.5″ 304 tubing, a CIP ball, some 1.5″ tri clamp plates and an afternoon, I set out to get one made.

Tig welded to the tri clamp block off plate. Drilling through these plates is a royal pain so if you have means to punch through them I recommend it.

And the first use. While a doubt this will yield a large efficiency increase over my previous method of a silicone hose atop the mash, it sure is nice to not have to worry about it spraying wort all over the kitchen.
